Naw it's not just you; who wants to listen to complainers? Guess the only point was that not _everyone_ who is a first time poster is just a complainer, and may actually have a valuable contribution. It's these people you'll cut yourself off from because of the other noise makers. The argument comes down to how much noise you're willing to endure in order to leave the door open for valuable posts from people who are too new to have made acknowledged contributions. A moderated list might be a better compromise. Sean
