The doc does assume that the reader has some familiarity with the rpmdistro-gitoverlay project, yes. I'll look at tweaking that doc to mention looking at the toplevel README. rpmdistro-gitoverlay *replaces* koji, it isn't something you can use on a "traditional package". Anyways, it's pretty simple, rpmdistro-gitoverlay does a recursive git mirror in to src/ - and recursive here includes submodules, for exactly the reason you raised. A number of important real-world modules use them (including ostree/rpm-ostree). _______________________________________________ devel mailing list -- devel@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send an email to devel-leave@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Fedora Code of Conduct: https://getfedora.org/code-of-conduct.html List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/devel@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
