It's on the roadmap. coredumpctl is really great, and it's wonderful that the ABRT devs are working on this. I don't care too much about the rest of systemd, but coredumpctl makes daily life a little bit easier. (If you don't have ABRT installed, then systemd beginning in F21 will indeed handle core dumps now, but you can always turn it off if you don't like it.)
