Sometimes I'm using the wireless for "real" network access (default route) and the wired to access a router for configuration or something. NM takes a default route from wired before wireless (unless this has changed recently and I missed something), so the only way to do this is to shut down NM (and configure things manually). I periodically use two or three wired interfaces, and again, I might see a default route on more than one, but I need to control which one is really default. Also, sometimes I bridge between two wired interfaces for traffic monitoring (since the cheapest gigabit switch with port mirroring is ~$100). My notebook (Thinkpad Z60m) has built-in gigabit and ABG wireless. I then have an ExpressCard gigabit and USB 100 megabit NICs for debugging, routing, etc. when connecting to multiple networks. -- Chris Adams <cmadams@xxxxxxxxxx> Systems and Network Administrator - HiWAAY Internet Services I don't speak for anybody but myself - that's enough trouble. -- fedora-devel-list mailing list fedora-devel-list@xxxxxxxxxx https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-devel-list
