Hi!

BTW: Are there known problems with LVM and RAID? And has anyone tested
with 2.6.17 (although as far as I remember, the changes from 2.6.16 were
made to enable RAID-5 online growing of arrays and not for bugfixing).

I will test a raid5+lvm combination this evening and see what happens.
2.6.17 is on my schedule as well.

So far i just managed to verify the things we already know:
It happens with aes, twofish and serpent.
It happens with raid5+dmcrypt but not with raid1+dmcrypt or raid5 w/o dmcrypt.
It is not related to the type or size of filesystem.

Do the maintainers of the raid subsystem already know about this?

Kevin
