Because Fedora was much less stable on *my* system, a brand new HP laptop with a new AMD chip. I mean I'm glad it works for y'all, but it doesn't now for me. I installed Fedora, twice, with the same results. Also Windows just works. Nothing just crashes out of nowhere, all that. Plus it has a subsystem for Android now so I can run Android apps like Pocketcast. Of course, if Linux worked for me I could just use GPodder. Ah well.
