I would appreciate pointers to comparisons of bsd and the several brands of linux. Which of these has best soundcard support? Are any better with sound generating prrograms such as are used in audio research? Are there differences in running speakup or emacs speak on any of them? Please, do not be so rude as to tell me to just search, without telling me where to search!!! If you must quote me, please put your comments first. I have already listened to mine.
