Hi!
I'm new to AGL and I'm facing the same issue. The problem is that AGL is using the legacy IDE driver in Linux kernel. It creates /dev/hd* device files and these are for some reason not recognized by udev when creating the /dev/disk/by-uuid symlinks. I found out two workarounds:
1) In the rescue console, change the line in fstab to /dev/hda1
2) Make QEMU use AHCI SATA controller instead of IDE. That can be done by replacing the -hda line with something like:
-drive id=disk,file=agl-demo-platform-qemux86-64.wic.vmdk,if=none \
-device ahci,id=ahci \
-device ide-drive,drive=disk,bus=ahci.0 \
-device ahci,id=ahci \
-device ide-drive,drive=disk,bus=ahci.0 \
But the VMDK won't boot from a SATA drive by default. I have to workaround that by pressing the Escape button immediately after the QEMU window shows up (be quick!) and selecting "UEFI QEMU HARDDISK" in the Boot Manager menu.
However, now I've run into another issue: the graphical interface is not running.

Hi guys,I have successfully build an agl-image-minimal image from master branch, but I am facing some booting issue. This is the command that I am using to run qemu:qemu-system-x86_64 -enable-kvm -m 2048 -kernel bzImage.bin -hda agl-image-minimal-qemux86-64-20200602195611.rootfs.wic.vmdk -append "root=/dev/hda2 console=ttyS0" -cpu kvm64 -cpu qemu64,+ssse3,+sse4.1,+sse4.2,+popcnt -vga virtio -show-cursor -device virtio-rng-pci -serial mon:stdio -soundhw hda -net nic,vlan=0 -net user,hostfwd=tcp::2223-:22,hostfwd=tcp::8888-:8888,hostfwd=tcp::8081-:8080Please advise me if I am doing something wrong or if there is a problem with the current master branch. If someone explains it to me what is the actual problem that would be pretty much appreciated. When booting, the system seems not to be able to mount the boot partition and i see this error:A start job is running for /dev/disk/by-uuid/6573-891B (31s / 4min)[ TIME ] Timed out waiting for device /dev/disk/by-uuid/08F5-1CB0.
