Today I went to server I saw him waiting me to do manual fsck!,because we had a power failure and the UPS didn't last long enough. I did fsck in 2 partitions d0p3(home) and d0p5(usr) and in the first i found 40 inode with problems which I cleared them and in the second only 4. The first partition it has 70 GB size and the usr only 2GB. I run fsck for bad blocks check and it did n't find any bad blocks. I run again fsck for the home partition and i saw the same inodes which i found in the first fsck!WHy is that. Do you think that i have to do fsck for bad blocks directly to the disks, hde and hdg? Am i allowed to do that? Pavlos -- ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I love having the feeling of being in control while i have the sensation of speed The surfer of life ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
