Hello,
I have installed Red Hat 7.3 on the ASUS A7M266-D
Motherboard with FastTrack100 Promise RAID SCSI Card.
It has a dual AMD MP 1800 processor with 512MB
DDR Ram, (2) Maxtor 80GB 7400 RPM DIsks.
The NIC Card is an SMC 10/100
11211TX card.
After resolving the other problems while installing
Red Hat on this Server, I am still having problems with the NIC card and I get
the only error of "depmod: depmod: *** Unresolved symbols in
/lib/modules/2.4.18-3/kernel/drivers/scsi/FastTrak.o"
Now could this be causing the reson why I am having
network connection problems. RH 7.3 does not want to detect any of my network
card I have used.
I have attached my boot log for reference and would
greatly appreciate any help I can receive.
