Hello all,
I have a server runing redhat 7.3 in a PCI promise TX2 controller.
I installed the system using the binary drivers from promise and then
i switched to ataraid, I am using 2.4.19 kernel.This server acts
as a mail server and as a file server(samba 2.2.7).
Two days ago i copied 9 GB of files from another PC to that pc through the
network.
Today i found that there is a file that i can not access and when i try i
get these in my message log

Dec 6 21:07:22 mainserver kernel: attempt to access beyond end of device
Dec  6 21:07:22 mainserver kernel: 72:03: rw=0, want=2114883208,
limit=71682030
Dec 6 21:07:42 mainserver kernel: attempt to access beyond end of device
Dec  6 21:07:42 mainserver kernel: 72:03: rw=0, want=2114883208,
limit=71682030

i can not copy/md5sum the specific file and i would like to know if
this has to do with the ataraid driver from the kernel.
I am asking this because the file must be destroyed during the writing from
the winpc to linux.If the file had problems on the winpc then i could not
copy it
on the linux box.
Any ideas where i have to search for the source of the problem?
Pavlos
