No raid?

My raid controller is a Promise onboard controller which works great in 
linux, my problem is related to win2k! Lately I formatted my hd's and 
set the raid controller to behave like no-raid, just ide3/ide4. In 
linux, again, this works great. But windows doesn't recognize the drive 
at all. I know this isn't related to linux/redhat, but now I'm just 
getting tired and hoped that someone out there could help me! Thanx in
