I feel "KDE -> system settings" , is missing some options, at least one, desktop search setting , I have to use balooctl (balooctl disable) to disable it. Yes I disable all desktop searches, mainly because I never use it and won't need it . Also we can miss some kcm like kcm_touchpad . While I'm checking differences of kcm(s) in F21 and F23 [1] , I found that I hadn't install baloo-kcmadv, maybe after restart KDE it will appear the desktop search , anyway F23 just have one less kcm ( kcm_touchpad ).
