The stage 2 image is rather too large, and it would kick the minimum required ram up 'wayyy too high for many. I am sure that a patch testing ram present, and deciding if it is more than say 128 M more than the size of the biggest one: [herrold@ftp loop]$ ls -l `find -name '*img' | grep sta | \ grep -v image ` | awk {'print $5" "$9'} 2704029 ./ftpinstall/1/dosutils/autoboot/initrd.img 2704029 ./ftpinstall/1/isolinux/initrd.img 10170368 ./ftpinstall/1/RedHat/base/hdstg2.img 10502144 ./ftpinstall/1/RedHat/base/netstg2.img 64114688 ./ftpinstall/1/RedHat/base/stage2.img [herrold@ftp loop]$ and if so unblocking the 'text only' notice would be welcome at Bugzilla. IANAHNBARHE. Integration and payback for doing so seem low except for niche installer users, though, and it may not get integrated, given the drastic changed in Anaconda each cycle. -- Russ Herrold
