Ok well that is frustrating.  On the DX, the same jack is used for Mic
in, Line in and TOSLINK out.

Since the main purpose of my DX is to get bits out the TOSLINK to my
Schiit Bifrost, I guess I won't be crawling around on the floor
unplugging / replugging things just for the sheer joy of it all.

Maybe another day.  Bah.
