RE: compiling error about XFree86 4.3.0.1

Hi:
I don't know whether I got from CVS is really 4.3.0.1.
Since the CVS command I type is
cvs -q checkout -r xf-4_3_0_1 -P xc
And my CVSROOT=:pserver:anoncvs@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx:/cvs

By the way, in lnx_io.c I download by this CVS command, I found
#include <linux/version.h> in it.
Is that enough to successfully compile the code under kernel 2.6.X or should
I check other conditions?

Appreciate your help.
Sincerely Yours,
cckuo

The 4.3.0.1 version of lnx_io.c does not, in fact, #include
<linux/version.h>
So, either you are mistaken in asserting otherwise, or you got the 4.3.0.1
sources from somewhere other than xfree86.org.

In the first case, you'll need to make the change found at
http://cvsweb.xfree86.org/cvsweb/xc/programs/Xserver/hw/xfree86/os-support/l
inux/lnx_io.c.diff?r1=3.24&r2=3.25

Marc.
