Hi: I don't know whether I got from CVS is really 4.3.0.1. Since the CVS command I type is cvs -q checkout -r xf-4_3_0_1 -P xc And my CVSROOT=:pserver:anoncvs@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx:/cvs By the way, in lnx_io.c I download by this CVS command, I found #include <linux/version.h> in it.
I have just verified that this assertion is incorrect. There are no references to linux/version.h anywhere in 4.3.0.1's os-support/linux/*. In fact, 4.3.0.1 no tolerance for the spurious change that appeared in 2.5.42 kernels. Either you picked up the source from somewhere else (a Red Hat source RPM perhaps?) or you have version skew issues which I cannot help you with.
Is that enough to successfully compile the code under kernel 2.6.X or should I check other conditions?
It also appears you have version skews in your kernel headers.
