I have a temporary setup to learn Linux. It's an old Tyan m/b with a Diamond Viper card. A sample load of Knoppix scrambled the screen _after_ the intial boot routine ran. Can I make a command at the command line to lower the screen rez to 640x480? I have Red Hat 9 and a spare HD to install on this rig.
