Something strange is going on. Can you send the output of "scanpci -v" ? That's not one of those "Jet" brand video cards is it? There was one taiwan company that made cheap TNT2 cards with a broken BIOS claiming an invalid PCI ID of 0x002A. The "Jet" card can work by forcing XFree86 to detect as another valid TNT2 PCI ID. I'm wondering if it's one of those cards that you have. Mark.
