unfortunally I've tried this....
My configuration looked at that moment something like:

Driver      "mouse"
Device "/dev/mouse"
Protocol "Microsoft"

It's an old ordernary Microsoft serial-mouse with 2 buttons...
the path to the configuration-file is "/etc/x11" and the path to the
mouse-file is "/dev/mouse"
but.....he refused to accept the Driver-line in XF86config...?
Why not...?...?
