Check your XF86Config, the mouse config should look like that
Section "InputDevice"
	Identifier  "Mouse0"
	Driver      "mouse"
	Option      "Device" "/dev/mouse"
	Option      "Protocol" "PS/2"
#	Option      "Emulate3Buttons" "on"
#	Option      "ZAxisMapping" "4 5"
EndSection

Depending on your mouse the device option and protocol option could vary, if you have only 2
buttons the emulate3buttons options would be uncommented.
