Radeon 7200 problem

I have a Radeon 7200 64MB AGP board that I cannot get to run right under Linux
or Windows Me. If I install the board, run drakconf, get the ati driver set up
and running OK, then every thing is fine for about five minutes. Then, all of a
sudden the whole screen blinks off and back on, then there's strange vertical
lines on the screen. This continues to happen until the screen freezes. Then the
computer is worthless. A manual reboot is the only option. I have sent this
board to ATI for repair. It still does the same thing after return. I have 448
MB of RAM, a Gigabyte GA-6BXC mobo with a Celeron 333 CPU. It supports AGP 2X.
Anybody know of any compatility problem with this combination?

Thanks
