You should maybe first cope with the 
(EE) Unable to locate/open config file
error message before worrying about the 
no screens found

I suspect you are using a 3.3.6 config file with your 4.0.1
if so run XFree86 -configure the file will be created as XF86Config.new in you home directory
I don't know whether the Xconfigurator of RH 6.2 can recognise an X 4.x (if it did it might give
you a better conf)
back up you /etc/X11/XF86Config so that you can copy some of the options in the new config file
