i'm using redhat6.2 with default glibc2.1.3 and have been installing xfree86-4.0.1 When i type startx it give me "no screen found" i'm using vga card nvidia geforce2 400mx and the minimum requirement to install the driver is xfree86-4.0.1 Why "no screen found" happen? XFree86 Version 4.0.1 / X Window System (protocol Version 11, revision 0, vendor release 6400) Release Date: 1 July 2000 If the server is older than 6-12 months, or if your card is newer than the above date, look for a newer version before reporting problems.
