i can see that newbies are getting help from others, but as others 
get past the newbie stage, i suspect they unsubscribe from the 
newbie list and subscribe to the more advanced user lists.

this trend may tend to starve newbie help so i guess we should
solicit more advanced users to hang out on this list?! :)
