[Newbie]hello, i'm new to newbies and have a monitor question

Yes, i think you certainly have a point.   i 'm going to re-install the
stuff without expert mode.  Hope to find a default monitor to configure,
could be the end of the problem.  I probably can lateron change parameters
with X86confg.  do I ?
