Colleagues â?? Please consider submitting an abstract to topical session T35
on subduction magmatism at the upcoming GSA meeting in Phoenix. The session
is in honor of GSA MGPV early career awardee Christy B. Till. Abstracts are
due June 25.

*T35. Subduction Zone Magmatism from Source to Eruption, in the Lab and in
the Field: In Honor of Christy Till, GSA Mineralogy, Geochemistry,
Petrology, and Volcanology Division Early Career Awardee*

Adam J.R. Kent, Michael J. Krawczynski

GSA Mineralogy, Geochemistry, Petrology, and Volcanology Division

This session explores subduction zone magmatism via field and laboratory
measurements, together with experimental studies at high pressure and
temperature. The session honors GSA Mineralogy, Geochemistry, Petrology,
and Volcanology Division early career award winner Christy Till, who
exemplifies this approach.
