PhD studentship in Volcanology and Drone Engineering is open for applications at the School of Earth and Environment, University of Leeds (UK).
The project will develop a drone for measuring aerosol particles in plumes from active volcanoes in order to better understand how volcanic plumes form and disperse in the atmosphere. It will involve extensive fieldwork at active volcanoes.
