The Department of Geology & Geophysics at Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge, LA, USA, seeks an Instructor to teach and/or coordinate undergraduate lecture classes and/or laboratories in the introductory courses (Physical and Historical Geology). In addition, they must supervise Graduate Student Teaching Assistants and/or develop and implement a plan for assessment of course learning objectives and implement the Department's General Education Assessment Plan.

Required Qualifications:
Master's degree in geology, geoscience, or related field; experience
with multimedia and/or other modern instructional technology.

Desired Qualifications:
Ph.D. in geology, geoscience, or related field; familiarity with
practices of scientific teaching, active learning and inquiry-based
learning.
