PINGU 1.4************************************************************************************************
Who is not upset with the lack of plotting tools to produce good-quality petrological-relevant diagrams? We would like to draw your attention to PINGU 1.4, a new plotting tool that runs in the framework of VHub (https://vhub.org).
In order to use the tool the user only has to be create an account in VHub (free and automatic) and also sign for a group (also free and instantaneous clicking the "Join Group" button) with the manuals, support and questions about the tool (https://vhub.org/groups/pingu
).
We are also introducing with PINGU a suite of related tools to plot
mineral-chemistry classification diagrams (cfu-pingu), ternary diagrams
(tritone) a mineral chemistry calculator (cfu) a CIPW calculator (Norma)
and a basic fractional crystallization calculator (Olive). Links to all
of these tools can be found in the Pingu Group (https://vhub.org/groups/pingu/wiki/PinguSuite).
