Please note that the abstract submission deadline is this coming Friday, February 29th 2008. For those concerned about a potential clash with the IAVCEI meeting in Iceland, please note that we have received an assurance from the conference organizers that the MVP-06 session will be held on either the 13th or 14th of August. Guest speakers at the session will provisionally include: Dr. Richard Ernst (Ernst Geosciences: large-scale tectonic framework of Large Igneous Provinces) and Dr. Carl Stevenson (University of Birmingham: New insights into granite emplacement from high resolution AMS studies).
