One of the machines with vlans, which network script was similar to Anakins', after changing the places of 'ip link set dev eth0 down' and 'vconfig rem eth0.XXX' is hangs with the same messages.... I am continue to think that the problem is somewhere between number of vlans and network load... Before that change, this machine never hung... best regards
