Or am I the first one, who tries vdr 2.0 and xineliboutput? ;-)

I have only tried vdr 1.7 with SD content, so I cannot check why your setup hangs. When I have time I will document howto setup VDR2 on debian.
Anything in /var/log/everything.log while you jump?

Oh, of course, but nothing leading me to the problem, but perhaps you can find something.

The only error-message I can see is "cXinelibServer::GetSTC timeout", but I don't know if this is related to my problem.

When vdr-sxfe hangs, then I have to kill it and restart it.
Then I can see the playing video, so vdr is still running and working.
