Hi, The EPIA M -> does not need a full featured card. If you have one make sure you have the right power supply (it will use more current than a budget card I think). My machine is work during day, TV in the evening and PVR when I'm not there/in bed so it runs X. Right now I don't have hardware MPEG2 because I'm playing with FC4 and the Fedora kernel does not get along with unichrome DRM (guess who's fault that is...). With MPEG2 acceleration (M10000N) the difference is 65? budget card vs. 200? FF - performance wise there is no difference. Now if you need CI that is another story. Tony
