Coconino National Forest Planned Prescribed Fire Activity May 27

Remember that all prescribed fire activity is dependant on weather, crew availability, and approval from the Arizona Department of Environmental Quality (www.azdeq.gov).

Eastside Project: This is a prescribed pile burn – burning slash piles from forest thinning projects – located behind Horseman's lodge, west of Hwy 89.  
Legal location: T22 R8 S28,
Smoke will move to the northeast but should be minimal.  Piles should be completely consumed by the end of the day.
