Hi Bill,

I would try (but have not):

# apt update
# apt --download-only install tde-trinity

- and then backup both /var/lib/apt and /var/cache/apt.

Restoring those backups onto a new system should (I haven't tried
it) make all the non-devel parts of TDE including dependencies
available for installation by apt.

If you need devel parts of TDE add "tde-devel-trinity" to the
download command.
