I've been using MX for, I think, 6 or 7 years now.  For me the attraction is
that it's pretty much straight Debian, in a form that makes it easy to end
up with a working system with all the multimedia stuff ready to go, without
having to make it all work myself.  They have a bunch of their own MX tools
for various things, but I rarely use them because I'm usually running TDE.
