Follow the links to find just which earlier version might work for you. They go all the way back to the beginning of the Apache fork, if I read correctly. Downloading several different versions now myself, in both 32-bit and 64-bit. Experience has taught me that it's better to have it and not need it, than to need it and not have it. However, it will take me a while to test them. If I get any signficant results (and if they somehow relate to that apparent problem with the gtk-tqt-engine causing crashes when I run Open Office), I'll post something here on the mailing list.
