Well, some say it does!

Funny thing is, file selection works in Gtk apps like Gimp or LibreOffice.

Probably all Mozilla stuff is affected: Firefox, and Thunderbird and Seamonkey as well (not using both of them however). And there's no problem in KDE5/Plasma. – Maybe I can get a backup of an outdated version just for testing to see if there's a difference.

Meanwhile I've also been using Qt web browser Falkon.
