When SquirrelMail builds mailbox tree, code issues IMAP LIST command for every mailbox. If user has more than 20 mailboxes, performance is worse than doing just one LIST call and sorting out results in PHP. If user has more than 1K mailboxes, first and uncached mailbox listing performance is abysmal. It is not specific to IMAP server and UW listing issues don't apply because user is using Courier IMAP. -- Tomas -- View this message in context: http://www.nabble.com/long-delay-after-logging-into-SM-tp22140575p22144134.html Sent from the squirrelmail-users mailing list archive at Nabble.com. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Open Source Business Conference (OSBC), March 24-25, 2009, San Francisco, CA -OSBC tackles the biggest issue in open source: Open Sourcing the Enterprise -Strategies to boost innovation and cut costs with open source participation -Receive a $600 discount off the registration fee with the source code: SFAD http://p.sf.net/sfu/XcvMzF8H ----- squirrelmail-users mailing list Posting guidelines: http://squirrelmail.org/postingguidelines List address: squirrelmail-users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx List archives: http://news.gmane.org/gmane.mail.squirrelmail.user List info (subscribe/unsubscribe/change options): https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/squirrelmail-users
