Thanks Paul, I figured out that if I subscribe to the pegasus Copy to Self folder i can then assign it as my sent mail folder and then unsubscribe from the Squirrelmail Sent folder..is this what you ment? I have struck a new problem. Following the Tomas instructions and some info I found online, I understood that for SM to interface with Mercury mail folder I needed to disable the serverside sorting or threading. I did this as per the guide at http://objectmix.com/pegasus/203864-squirrel-config-merc32.html http://objectmix.com/pegasus/203864-squirrel-config-merc32.html . However after I did this I tested the set up and clicked the TREAD VIEW link in SM and immediately got a error prompt "ERROR: Bad or malformed request. Query: THREAD REFERENCES ISO-8859-1 ALL Server responded: Unrecognized or out-of-state command." Now I cannot seem to restore the folder view. I have restarted Mercury, I have tried removing the obvious IMAP files (_INBOX_.PNM, newmail.cac etc) from the users mailbox but nothing works. I have tested this issue with an empty mailbox (ie trash) and did not get an error, but anytime I click THREAD VIEW on a folder that contains mail the error appears and I cannot restore the folder view. I presume that because I clicked the THREAD VIEW it is now attempting to TREAD VIEW everytime I select the folder. But then I thought this setting had been disabled when I set the serverside sorting or threading to FALSE.
