I can report that changing the Apache conf file allowed me to get to the SM login screen, as soon as I logged in however the actual mail message were blocked by the filter, confirming my suspicions that the filter is working on the word "webmail" in the URL. So (by SSH'ing into my home machine) I changed the name of "webmail.php" to be "mymsga.php" and did a quick search and replace of all occurrences of the string "webmail.php" in the files listed in my previous message, a quick restart of Apache and... Hey presto I have unfiltered access to my emails. An awful hack, but the whole thing (including testing) took around 15mins. I don't relish having to repeat the exercise after any and every upgrade, but hey... And Paul, I agree with you entirely. The problem is that I am sometimes only on site for a few days at some of these clients. They are not really interested in changing their web filtering policies just to suit me... Anyway, the main thing is, I now have fully functional SM installation and I am thrilled to bits with it. I have even started discovering the joy of plugins. I have just plugged in "login_auth" which allows me to put SM in a password protected area of my website and not have to re-enter my credentials when logging on to SM. Genius! Thanks to all! AD
