I am getting spurious New Mail alerts, probably because the new mail alert is being processed before the filter runs and moves the (spam) message to a spam folder. How do I fix this? What information can I provide in order to troubleshoot this? I see newmail and filters folders in plugins directory. I have root access and am the server administrator.
