Hello Cassandra,

The name of the default folders cannot be changed in your language files. 
You have to edit your configuration file (typically located in 
/usr/share/squirrelmail/config/configuration.php or 
/usr/share/squirrelmail/config/config_local.php).

Change this lines:

$default_folder_prefix          = 'mail/';
$trash_folder                   = 'Papelera';
$sent_folder                    = 'Enviados';
$draft_folder                   = 'Borradores';

After making this changes, your webmail user will see this folders:

INBOX
Papelera
Enviados
Borradores
Trash
Sent
Drafts

You must delete the old folders.
