Then admin's personal address book becomes a global one. Or use plugins that allow to override SquirrelMail configuration based on username. Or create address book plugin with username based access rights controls. > i follwed the steps required to setup a global address book in conf.pl > but when i click on addresses only option of Add to Personal address book > is there.. no global addresses option > > then i did create a address and found username.abook file is created > > I did copy this file as global_abook and now when i click address there is > global address book shown and below it the addresses but no option to add > new address to this global address book . the only option is to add > address to personall address book how do i add a new address to this > global address > > now i tried to add manually using vi ( which i guess is not the right way > ) but then when i click address i get the folowing error > > ERROR > > Address book is corrupted. Required fields are missing > so basically how do i add a new address to my global address book SquirrelMail address book has five fields. If you edit address book without SquirrelMail address book functions and make mistakes, SquirrelMail 1.4.9-1.4.10 won't tolerate address book format violations. Address book must have five fields separated with | symbol and max line length must be lower than value allowed in SquirrelMail configuration. It reduces number of checks on available address book fields. -- Tomas ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by DB2 Express Download DB2 Express C - the FREE version of DB2 express and take control of your XML.
