It's best if you keep the replies on the list, for two reasons: you may benefit from
the expertise of several list members, rather than just me, and; others can benefit
from the help provided.

You still haven't provided any detail about your setup, not even the items that I
raised in my earlier response. For example, if your existing mail format is the same
as your new server's mail format, and if it's something like maildir whereby each
message is a file, you may be able to just do a file transfer. You had asked about
DNS delays, and the steps I provided will assist with that.

More information usually leads to better help. The Posting Guidelines may be useful.
