Easiest way to migrate is to get IMAP accessibility to both servers with a client like Thunderbird and drag and drop folders between accounts. Otherwise, migration competely depends on what the server/maildir/mailbox format and software was on the old server (and it's off topic here -- better to search Google for the myriad of migration tools once you understand the old environment). > It looks like the (un)subscribed folders are listed in the files > > courierimapsubscribed > courierimapunsubscribed > > The contents of these files are what I see as the subscribbed and > unsubscribed folder list under the folders link when I use their SM > install. > > When I setup my own install, I could login but SM complaind about not > being able to create the Inbox folder because it was not a valid user. Make sure you ran conf.pl and chose option D and then typed in courier. After that, you need to show exact error messages and as much more info about the nature of the IMAP setup on the new server and any log messages you have access to. Make SURE you know what the real IMAP username is. Maybe you need the Vlogin plugin. > So I'm having a bit of a problem migrating. How you yall handle something > like this.
