Brian and Nigel: don't forget Dag Wieers (ftp://fr2.rpmfind.net/linux/dag/redhat/el4/en/) who has a huge amount of non-Red Hat Perl and other useful rpms and srpms for RHAS/REL4; it's worth while adding him to the up2date/yum repositories for much stuff. He's saved me oceans of time and agro - I insist on installing rpms exclusively on Red Hat.
