What you write, Seth, is correct.  However, dant's original post had to
do with automating the configuration process within a %post scriptlet;
he proposed using expect for that purpose, to which i suggested the
possibility of a here document instead.  You seem to have been reading a
different conversation than the one i've been involved in....
