Brother HL-1440
comes stock with 2Mb of RAM on board & will accept a single SIMM up to
32Mb

does 1200x600 with a full memory load & works flawlessly in linux with
the stock drivers included in CUPS

Various Staples or OfficeMax stores have it on sale for as little as
$99US
